Hi everyone,
I've jailbroken my iPhone for the last 8 months, but have upgraded and been using it normally.
However, today when I turned it to vibrate, the bell with the line showed up on the screen, but on the top right hand corner next to the battery symbol, there was no indication that it was on vibrate mode. Is this normal (i may have forgotten)? Is the symbol just for jailbroken phones? I suddenly noticed this so I am not sure. I have asked around people, but gotten no help. Thanks in advance. Sorry for the stupid question.

So my friend gave me the Install Xcode.app and every time I double click it to install it nothing happens. I see my dock move a little bit, like its about to open up a new application down there, but then it goes away. It only moves like 5 pixels so I can't see what app is going on the dock. Is there anyway for me to install it? If he needs to sign in as a developer on his account thats fine, but how would we do that?

I know right? Christians are totally equivalent in women's clothing to Muslims. I mean, asking for the skirts to be to their knees, for them to not see midriff, or parts of the breast is totally equivalent to making the wear burkhas. It's not. Risky male to female sex is also excluded (sleeping with anyone involved in the sex industry). It's a question of exposure to mixing blood, and thus communicating disease. Statistically, Male to Male sex increases that risk...

The question asked of heterosexuals =/= asked gay and bisexual men. The risk factor for straight people is risky sex, the risk factor asked for gay men is not risky sex, but sex at all - even once. Its not the same thing. If there was no bigotry behind the question it would be raised this way to all, no matter what orientation "have you had unprotected sex with more than one partner in the last 5 years, if yes have you been tested for HIV?"

if they are not tracking people then why have the feature? maybe the information is for someone else??... who knows but one thing is for sure its an invasion of privacy..... even if I do stay home all day and night.
Not only that but if it only tracked you for a time and then deleted it self automatically then I could see it but my understanding this is not just one day or week so in theory they can track you for a long time.
For those who do not care fine I don't care what they think, this should be something that can be turned off without loosing other functionality.

I wish Apple would make cheaper computers. I'm stuck with a $299 Hackintosh.

I've got an almost 3 year old iphone 3G that has become almost useless because of its sluggishness. I was planning on jumping on the iphone 5 before it was delayed (supposedly).
What would you do if it were you? Wait until possibly next year to get the iphone 5 or go ahead and pick up a 4 now?

I guess we'll just have to find out in June. Maybe not at WWDC, but who says there won't be a hardware announcement at some point immediately following WWDC? Either way, I'm fine with my iP4....that is until iP5 is available :D

Hey, I'm trying to generate a sound that will match something from a song my band is covering. I have the sound set up just right except I need the it to oscillate faster. I want it to be at oscillating at about 178 bpm but I can't figure how to get it to work.
