Same problem..
How do you solve??
My ipad ( treated jailbreak) is not recognized on PC and is stuck in boot loop.
even in DFU or recovery mode is not recognized by PC.
I've tried everything ... It simply is not recognized in any way ...

What is the most inappropriate musician or band that Apple could put on stage at a future keynote? What about an inappropriate song? Its not like Kanye singing "Gold Digger" fit the mood, but hey, there may have been some rap fans there, right?

I wouldn't be surprised if Steve put Black Eyed Peas up on stage one time. They're Apple guys, and Steve guys. And they could play "My Humps" on stage. Oh yes, "my humps, my humps, my humps.......my lovely little lumps." :p

The screenshots are also too wide for a 1024 screen and a 80% width browser window.... :( Which is going to be a lot of PB and iBook users.
But I don't understand this whole "ugly guide" thing...isn't just sending the PM and not moving the guide at all enough?

Interesting to see that the key-visual (bunch of TV screens rotating) they use actually comes from the Apple TV starting animation and yet, there was no news on it.....:(

Could you use ScreenFlow (demo) or QT X to screen capture the process and upload it to some file sharing service like Dropbox, 2Shared or MediaFire?

If you're on a budget then look into a DIY stabilizer. Google or check out the DIY section of DVXUser for advice/instructions. It shouldn't be too hard to get something decent to control such a small camera.

Ok my mom just got a cable modem today. I have dsl at my house so I'm not sure if i'm doing everything right. The problem is, the airport is not getting an ip address from the modem. I just un-pluged everything for 8min and still nothing(This is applecare said to do.) The modem works fine when hooked up to a computer direct. Anyone have any hints at all. This is really getting to me. Shes running 10.2.6 and all the newest versions of airport/basestation etc.

We have dozens of places around here (including EB Games) that will buy used cds. Some will give you cash, some may give you a better deal in credit. I believe some places online are cdtradespot.com and cashforcds.com. I think that's how you spell them. If you do a search, you can probably find them if those address are wrong.

Is there a plugin API in Xcode (4)?
I miss a lot of the brilliant extensions made for VS2008 and VS2010. ReSharper, Telerik, misc database plugins etc. are all good tools that enhance VS and makes it so good. That way some of the itches that Apple can't or won't scratch could be done by other developers.

I usually get my consoles straight from independent shops, or their suppliers. They're a bit cheaper and don't come with game bundles.
'Cept for when I bought my PSP. It cost �5 more ("um sorry we can't sell the console on its own"... d**ks!) but they foolishly bundled a brand new, AAA-tier game that I sold on for �20.
They can be good. Sometimes.

I would kinda like to find a website where flame wars were cherished, trolls were honored, and bitter insults were extolled.
Of course, I appreciate and enjoy the close community that has formed here too much to want MacRumors to be that site, but I would like my occassional craving for flaming to be satisfied somewhere.

Its also the buggiest thing on the OS, it disables typing after a few minutes, doesnt want to load web pages some times, and everytime you skip around in a flash video it starts it as a new download without killing the old one meaning youll end up with a bunch of FLV's being downloaded at the same time killing your bandwidth and having your video stopped on sites that dont allow multiple connections.

2. Delete MACDefender from the Applications folder.
3. Check System Preferences → Accounts → Login Items for MAC Defender entry.
4. Run a Spotlight search for "MACDefender" to check for any associated files and remove them if exist. Use this method to fully delete the trojan. (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=11171082&postcount=16)

That doesn't happen with me. When my monitor goes off, his avatar expands, then covers up my whole screen, swallowing all the other avatars. Whoa...wait, let me try it again to be sure.
