Have you always got them or is this a new thing? Perhaps you have new shoes or a new carpet? Or is it especially dry weather? YOU could be building up static charge and discharging it on any grounded object!

http://motionmountain.net/ is supposed to have great physic textbooks, free as PDF. They say "in full colour, with embedded films and animations". So I download a chapter from http://motionmountain.net/download.html, but where I suppose movies should be seen I just see their logo which is a hyperlink back to http://motionmountain.net/. I don't have a Windows box to see if this is a Mac issue, but I've tried with both Snow Leopard and Lion using both Preview, Adobe Acrobat X and Reader 10.
Does anyone have an idea on what is going on here?

My girlfriends computer crashed so she lost all her music but luckily it is all still on her old iPod Video 30gb (not sure what generation it is, it is the first one that plays videos)..
Anyway, when i try to take the music off her iPod, it auto ejects. I have tried 3 different methods:
I tried using a tool called iPod Access: it auto ejected
I tried using a tool called expod: it auto ejected
I tried unhiding the music folders on it and just copying those over: it auto ejected.
The ipod itself works fine. No problems at all. I just cannot, for the life of me, find out what is happening..
Can anybody at all help me
*Edit: i forgot to mention that i am using a mac (specs in sig)
try Senuti (iTunes spelt backwards) can copy everything off your iPod onto your computer.

I'm looking for a program to convert avi files to mpeg. The videos are very choppy when tr ying to view on the computer. I want to convert, and then burn them, so I can watch them.
Versiontracker turned up alot of software that can do it, but I'm broke right now. I need a free solution.

So I'm a complete noob when it comes to running Windows on my Mac. At the moment, I've partitioned my HD in two, and I'm running SL and Lion on the separate partitions.
I'm wondering though, is it possible to split my HD a third time and install Windows on this partition?

Wow, this is really taking off!
There has to be more than just those songs for only one rec' though, right? Have you considered a separate page to list them all and just have 10 or so there in the sidebar?

try going to the utility folder and open a programm called "audio-midi-konfiguration" (I do not know the exact english naming on your mac). Maybe you find that there is a setting to be changed.

Hi guys! I am wanting to reprint all the pieces of my portflio. At school when i use acrobat pro, I have a setting to put epson premium presentation paper (the kind of paper I use to print work). I also have a setting to print quality over speed, which makes the printing a whole lot slower but it looks best.
Now I am printing at home. I have adobe acrobat x (not pro). At school we had version 9 and it was pro so had those settings. Now that I am using x and it isnt pro, I dont see a setting for quality over speed. I also dont see a setting for certain epson paper.
Could it be a driver issue? Is it because I am not using acrobat pro? Or is it because this is version 10 and I need 9?

I bought an iPod touch 4g 64gb on thanksgiving , that came factory installed 4.2.1, pc model... I was wondering if there was a reliable untethered jb that wouldn't slow down my iPod or drain the battery... I am on a pc, btw...

I also have about 5 discs that were messed up when I burned them. If you want them, $1 shipped for all 5. Great for art projects.
