The ClickWheel "interface" of the classic is a royal pain in the back when you have to navigate through thousands of titles.
It's easy to navigate with the click wheel if your songs are properly tagged. I'd rather use it than the iOS iPod app. :)

Just ordered a silver 4GB with inscription for my girlfriend. It's her birthday present (from last month) and she got to choose the colour herself... :)
Ordered a Tucano Second Skin Guaina for my MacBook at the same time to save a buck on shipping... ;)
Now that the nanos look (and presumably feel) like the minis I might be tempted to get a nano, and not just a new battery, whenever my 1G green mini's battery decides to quit... a green 4GB nano would be a perfect replacement...

In Brazil any import has about 80% in taxes. That is the way to industrialize the country and make people and companies build the products "in house".

Anyone wanting an Apple desktop is forced to buy an AIO. For many people that's fine, they don't care, perhaps they even welcome it or prefer it, but for many others it's simply not an attractive option.

I was speaking with hyperbole--I think a lot of people who do have this clue thing think that it's somewhat hard to write viruses for OS X... Apple certainly advertises it horrendously these days.
As for blaming BlackHatters for our ignorance about security issues, I think that you need to get that clue thing for saying that. And as for smug OS X newcomers, you would do well to remember that OS X is MOSTLY *nix at the base. You don't have to be a hardened OS X developer to futz around in it.

All this moral discussion about stealing a 1500,- bucks suite of software is pretty ridiculous if you put it into a relation to the billions of dollars/euros stolen from our tax money by the private central banks.

The same rules should apply to everyone.

if they're not too pricey i might have to update, although they're gonna have to have more power than the II's, there's a piddly amount of wattage in the sub.

Can Apple improve battery support to support LTE and A5 processor? I'd love it if they did, but we know Apple likes to take very firm single steps. Maybe it's time to upgrade the screen size to get more under the hood (and stick the antenna back in there).

He doesn't know why he wants to build a good camera for Apple? Cause last time I checked Sony doesnt actually know what market they want to go in and just dips their feet into everything. Not mention Samsung has been doing much better in the smart phone market than Sony but are building most of the components in the iOS devices.

In reality, of course, why do you need more than a few Mbps? For video. But video only needs a few hundred Kbps to maybe 1.5 to 2 Mbps for a tablet device. If that. And service plans are so data limited, you�re not going to be routinely streaming huge amounts of video anyway when you�re on a 3G or 4G network. You�ll only do that over Wi-Fi. Who cares if the network is faster if it�s fast enough?

if that banner has everything that apple currently ships/makes - where the heck is the full body iPod??? I looked all over those pictures and only saw the nano. I understand not putting the shuffle up there but the not the iPod - are you serious?? I'm sure this will lend to speculation about nano's getting bigger HD's since there's no regular iPod in sight - haha.

They should use the new LOVE mix of Tomorrow Never Knows with Within You Without You. The drumming is so cool and it would attract so much attention since although so many have heard the two separate songs, hearing the Mashup of the two is quite stunning and very modern. You should check it out if you have not yet. Amazing sound. Especially in 5.1

If we artificailly inflate numbers at the cost of performance (PIV) we have more GHz doing the same amount of work. If we lower margins and Apple quits being a botique company, quality will suffer, profits will suffer, and the overall effect won't be good.
If Apple has a 30% share in the future, do you think we'll remain virus free? Do you think we'll get more attention from the pop-up spyware writers? Do you think the hardware will still be built to as high of a spec?
And anyone who has said "I like your style, Nipsy" in this thread, no you don't, you just like the fact that he's defending your precious Macs. You guys whine and complain about what Apple's needs to do right, but as soon as someone points out that Apple is doing something wrong, you suddenly completely disagree with the very points that you yourselves were making. All I can see them do is try to play one studio against another by telling studio A that if they deal with Apple wall-mart will in turn give preferential treatment, advertising and self-space to studio B. The only way this will work is if the have every studio thinking the same thing. The best way to counter it is if all studios hop on at once, they'll have Wall-mart bent over a barrel.

Give us a strong iOS and MacOSX upgrade this summer and then follow it up with a new iPhone in October and a retina version of the iPad and iPod Touch in the fall and Apple would be on fire for the holidays.

I don't mind the GMA all that much. If you don't do gaming it is pleanty powerful enough. I gave up on gaming after giving up on WoW in favor of FF XII. It is pretty pathetic that Apple still even sells a computer with a combo drive tho.... that really should be standard even in the $1099 model these days.
Actually I like being a consumer with choices. I've only used my powerbook to burn DVDs maybe thrice. If I had to buy another computer. I'd probably go with a Combo drive since I'd have the powerbook to burn DVDs.
