i can drive my minivan from zip code 32771 (orlando area). so 6 seats are vacant.
i can pick up members from daytona beach area, jacksonville etc. if someone is coming from south florida, tampa area they can stop by at orlando and we can car pool from orlando.

Here is the issue: If you are thinking of doing MBA to get a management job in a US company and are an Indian, please forget it. You might get a low level management position paying at most 80K. MBA is not for everyone - you have to have it in you to get something out of an MBA. It's not about landing that good job. You hear about the 1 crore offers that IIM students get from top American companies? Well, they are kicked out of the job in 1 year and then join Infosys or Wipro. Not because they are not brilliant but because their conversational skills are terrible and so is their language. Unless you are planning to settle in India OR REALLY THINKING OF PUTTING A LOT OF EFFORT in mastering the English language and your outlook, an MBA is not going to serve you in the US.
Like, someone said, an MBA is more than just a degree. You can get a better, much higher paying job (300K+) without an MBA but with excellent logic, hard work, conversational skills and outgoing personality. No GC required :)

What is the next item we are waiting for, it has to be "wait for the economy to get a little better before the congress will do something".
This chakraview never ends. Please god (or IV) help us ......
We have no more excuses now.
1. Elections are over. So all arguments like "wait till the elections are over" do not apply.
2. We have a pro immigration president now.
3. Democrats are incharge of the house and the senate.
This is a good time to act. What is IV waiting for...
Ofcourse economy will grab the headlines, but it does not mean nothing else can be done. Do something before democrats start worrying about 2010 elections. Time to highlight that immigrants can help by buying houses (NPR had devoted some time to it recently, so they are aware, we just need to give it more publicity)

So, only "US-educated folks" are entitled for H1? Is that what you are saying? And only that is a principled stand and rest everything is falsehood?
IEEE believes that ppl educated in the US should not be sent back and should actually stay here. I agree with that stance. After all, they want what is best for ppl born here and those who have been educated here. It is IEEE-USA :)

I got one FP done after filing I-485 and another when I first applied for EAD (18 motnhs back)
My spouse got only one FP request after I-485 and none during EAD renewals.
I wonders if we use AP to enter, do the fingerprints taken at the port of entry automatically get registered with our I-485 application. Because when we enter on AP there is a additional stepo at the port of entry where dat ais entered into some system.

Guys,
All EB3 Is are coming forward. Thats a good thing.
But do we have:
- A leader to lead this effort
- Agenda to follow
- Specific Goals
- Action Items
- Immediate Goals
Without these we are not going anywhere. But just wasting our time on top of our already surmounting frustration.
I have answered in a funny way
But do we have:
- A leader to lead this effort: None. But actually everyone.
- Agenda to follow : Everyone has one. But the single common agenda is to blame IV for EB3 dates not moving forward.
- Specific Goals : Everyone has one
- Action Items : EB3 should get all spillover and EB2 should not get it
- Immediate Goals: EB3 should get all spillover and EB2 should not get it
I see nobody serious but everyone wants some one else to help.
Here is my big idea. We should ask Bill Gates and Sonia Gandhi to help us. Instead of working on spillover for 500 visas, how about get these people to help us. They can help change INA with their contacts.

if there is diff emails with diff content it will be better. it will show diversity. even though we all will say the same thing.
on second thoughts i feel lou dobbs is unlikely to change his opinion even if 1K people send him mails. send it anyways to all other cnn anchors so that IV can get some coverage on cnn.
I feel sending anything to Lou Dobbs will only be counter-productive. We dont know for sure where he stands on EB visas, but the H1-B increase component in the SKIL bill is gauranteed to make him growl like a rabid dog. He is sure to paint it as an american-worker replacement bill.No coverage is better than coverage for numbersusa's point of view.

Sorry if this is offtopic but can someone explain to me who banned me and why? I didn't write anything offensive or abusive, and I didn't insult anybody. I was just discussing the issues I read in another forum.
If it is my handle, you don't like, well my name is Tawlibann Foggs (it is Celtic name, and quite rare but I like it). My friends call me Taliban jokingly (I know it may not be funny to all of you, and I didn't like it at first, but I can't stop people), so that's why the handle was 'taliban'. I thought this forum was open to everybody to express their opinions and discuss relevant issues without insulting others.
