Do you have any proof that FT actually does sell email addresses?
Just because businesses wants your email doesn't equate to they'll sell your details...

Than why else do they want them? FT references their "business model" needing this "relationship". As other have said, I want their content NOT a relationship.
That is NOT a reason to assume they do sell information. Probably marketing reasons.
Apple wants people to give personal information ( address, phone number etc ) to sign up for the various *free* developer programs ( i.e., Safari Developer ).. that isn't an indication that Apple are going to sell your information... However, according to your response.. Apple will sell this information... ( which of course, they will not ).

?Because there will usually be an app available for both. It's not the os being different. It's screen size and resolution that there is distinction.
They are basically the same, just slightly different layout for the iPad.
What you're saying makes no sense. If they're the same, why do they need different versions of the same application? Do different versions of the same application exist for the different flavors of windows 7? Are there different versions of the same application for laptops and desktop computers?

On a side note, I distinctly remember a PostSecret from a few years back that said "Red Cross - FYI I still donate" and the picture was of 2 men kissing. I don't think it should be a screening question, but if you are gay and know that you're "normal" and safe when it comes to sex, what are the chances you get busted for lying??

The old guys in the second video are a little mistaken. The "432" badge on the side of the Fairlady has nothing to do with cubic inches. In fact, they were only 2.0L engines (122ci). The "Fairlady Z 432" was simply a special, limited version of the normal Fairlady. The 432 number stood for the "4 valve, 3 carb, 2 cam" specs of the 6-cylinder engine. This is similar to what Oldsmobile did with the 60's 442, which stood for "4-barrel carb, 4-speed trans, dual exhaust". The Z in the video has a more modern RB25 Skyline engine in it, whereas the original Z 432 came with the then-current Skyline S20 2.0L, 6-cylinder engine.

What I've been waiting for is true javascript support for wysiwyg textarea editors. I run a Mac blog site and I have to ask users to use Firefox. It seems a little sucky to do that for a Mac specific blogger site. Since Safari 1.3 Apple said they included the nessesary "hooks" for these editors, but no one has been successful in getting any of them to work in Safari.
I downloaded the latest nightly build of Webkit and it still doen't work :(
Considering Apple is releasing what looks like a full-page wysiwyg editor (http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/leopard/wikiserver.html), I don't think you'll have to wait too much longer (Leopard) for that type of wysiwyg support.

That isn't entirely true. iPhone 1,1 (and soon iPhone 1,2) users can't run all apps. Anything that requires 4.0 (probably 4.3~5.0 for iPhone 1,2) won't run. Neither will things that require a certain amount of horsepower (say like Infinity Blade).

Where do you see this? Every ebay auction I see for dotmac ends up being at least $75 or more with $5 shipping at least.

Most of the phones running android within the last year and a half can run 90% of the apps available on the Market. And most of the handsets are great for their use, rather it be budget smartphone: Optimus 1 family or highend: Droid line or Keyboard: G2 by htc. Developers are flocking to android because it is growing faster then iOS.
Versus IOS devices that can run 100% of the apps?
I'd like to see your numbers as well, as honeycomb is supposed to be where it's headed, and last I checked, there weren't record numbers of developers flocking to that iteration of the OS.

Has anyone heard of a mac version of PTE, I used to have a windows computer and would use PTE everyday to download Power tabs from ultimate-guitar.com however recently our family got a mac and I can't get it to work. Is there any alternative besides VMware to run this? I have had to get my tabs from music downloads (http://http://www.emusic.com/).
